If you draw a line from head to heart you get the hearts line. It’s the guide post, the path, the avenue to being you.
When I first wrote a post about the Hearts Line — it started as “hearts on the line” – the place where the vulnerable decide to be open and share their truth. But then I got it. It’s not a one time deal. It’s a way of life. I give this next phase the calling Hearts Line. It’s all about the heart being the key to all decisions. When you know in your heart that you do what you must — -then your head might fall into alignment. You can’t make demands on your heart to love something that isn’t right. You can’t demand your heart love a person, a job, a group, a place.
Your heart knows what to love. When you get all the ‘stuff’ out of the way – the fears, the desire for approval or appreciation, the need to be seen or known…when you get rid of ALL the gunk that clogs your gears, you shift into a smoother life run.
Hearts Line — it’s got the right beat. In my earlier quests, people used to say something about getting out of your head and into your heart. They would add something about getting your head and heart aligned. Looking at it differently — the Hearts Line begins in the heart. There is no question about it.
From the days of our fathers: Proverbs 4:23 says “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.“ We can read this and apply it to many things, but the one resounding truth is we must steer clear of toxic relations that leave you feeling less than whole.
Find your tribe. Honor your tribe. Don’t be fooled by those who say one thing then do another. Don’t be fooled by false professions of love combined with mixed messages that serve to confuse. Look deep within your own heart for there you find the answers. Honor yourself. Don’t let others edit who you are or whom you want to become.
Listen closely to your heart and you will see your line.
